Dr Jack Barnard

Joining Date: 01/09/2014

Jack Barnard is Research Assistant working on the computational modelling of carbon capture and storage and gas transport in partially saturated soils as part of the Seren project.

Prior to working at Cardiff University he completed a PhD at the Durham University School of Engineering and Computing Sciences titled “Simulation of non-conservative transport using particle tracking methods with an application to soils contaminated with heavy metals” and an MSci in Geophysics at the Durham University Department of Earth Sciences.

Research Interests :-

Gas and solute transport in variably saturated porous media.

Mixing limited reactions in porous media.

Particle tracking methods.
